Yes. We can help with traditional mounting for Chinese paintings and calligraphy. The most suitable approach depends on the paper or silk, dimensions, current condition, and how you would like the finished work to be displayed.

Scroll mounting is a traditional presentation format for Chinese painting and calligraphy. A finished scroll can be hung for viewing and rolled for storage. Proper mounting shapes the appearance of the work while also giving it the support it needs for handling and preservation.

卷軸裝裱是中國書畫常見的傳統展示形式。完成後，作品可以懸掛欣賞，也可以捲起保存。裝裱不僅影響作品的外觀，也關係到作品能否得到妥善支撐和保存。

Framed mounting prepares a work for display inside a frame, making it well suited to long-term hanging and everyday viewing. Depending on the artwork and display requirements, the frame may use acrylic glazing or an open presentation without glazing. The right approach depends on the work’s size, materials, condition, and the client’s preferences.

鏡框裝裱是將作品裝入鏡框中展示的一種裝裱形式，適合長期懸掛和日常欣賞。根據作品和展示需求，可以選擇安裝壓克力鏡片，也可以選擇無鏡片的開放式裝裱。具體形式需要根據作品尺寸、材質、保存狀況和客人的需求確定。

Traditional mounting is far more involved than simply adhering a work to a backing. Depending on the piece and mounting style, the process may involve preparation, backing, trimming, joining borders, final backing, flattening, and assembly. Each stage requires careful handling and appropriate drying or resting time.

傳統書畫裝裱並不是簡單地把作品貼在襯紙上。根據作品和裝裱方式，整個過程可能需要經過多道手工工序，包括整理、托裱、裁切、鑲接、覆背、壓平和裝配等。每一步都需要適當的處理和等待時間。

Pricing depends on the artwork’s dimensions, materials and condition, as well as the mounting format and materials selected. Please contact us with clear photos and approximate measurements so we can provide a quote. A quote for another work may not apply to yours.

We need to examine the work first. Older paper, pigments, and mounting materials may be fragile, so we must understand the condition before recommending remounting or other treatment. Please bring the work to the gallery or contact us with clear photos for an initial assessment.

Please contact us with photos, dimensions, materials, and the type of presentation you have in mind. We will review the work, confirm whether we can accept the project, and explain the mounting options that may be suitable.

For a useful initial assessment, please provide:

• Clear photographs of the front and back
• The artwork’s dimensions
• The material, such as xuan paper, silk, or another type of paper
• Whether the work is currently mounted
• Any tears, creases, stains, lifting, or other damage
• Your preferred presentation, such as a scroll or framed format
• Any desired completion date

Advice based on photographs is preliminary. We may need to see the work in person before confirming the final approach.

Most works on display are available for purchase, although availability and status can change. If a particular piece interests you, please show us a photograph or provide enough information to identify it, and we will confirm whether it is still available.

You can show us a photograph of the work or point it out during your visit. Each piece is priced individually based on factors such as the artist, dimensions, period, subject matter, and mounting or framing.

Yes. We carry the traditional Four Treasures of the Study—brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones—along with related scholar’s supplies. Selection and availability may vary, so please visit the gallery or contact us if you are looking for something specific.

Yes. We accept commissions for hand-brushed Chinese calligraphy. You may specify the text, dimensions, and preferred script style. Please share your requirements with us so we can confirm the details, timing, and price.

Yes. Buddhist sutras and other requested texts can be hand-rendered in genuine 24K gold. Because pricing depends on the dimensions, length of the text, and specific requirements, please contact us for a consultation and quote.

Yes. We use genuine 24K gold leaf to gild bronze statues and Buddhist figures. Because the process is intricate, the piece must be brought to us; we do not provide off-site or on-location gilding. Please contact us for an assessment and quote.

The gallery is normally staffed every day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Hours may occasionally change when we are away or attending to other commitments. If you are making a special trip, please contact us before you set out.

We try to update our posted hours in advance when the gallery must close temporarily. If you are planning a special trip, however, we still recommend contacting us to confirm that we will be open that day.

In the gallery, we accept cash and major credit cards. Out-of-state clients purchasing remotely may pay by Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. Personal checks are also accepted, but we can only ship the artwork after the check has cleared. Please contact us before payment if you have any questions about the arrangements.
